Trust and believe = sealed (Part II)
You may say, now that I have salvation, do I really have an inheritance? Yes, you do and it was given to you in the form of God’s promises specifically for your own life (2 Cor. 1:20). You may say, how do I know this? You were chosen in Christ (Eph. 1:4), predestined unto good works (Eph. 1:5; 2:10) and born of God (Jn. 1:12-13, cf. Rms. 8:15-16), which means you obtained an inheritance (in heavenly places) and Holy Spirit is in you to help you receive it here on earth (Eph. 1:14; cf. Col. 1:27; Matt. 6:10).
It is God’s highest purpose for you to start receiving your inheritance now here on earth in the form His promises to live on until you return back to heaven. We clearly see this symbolism with Joshua leading the children of Israel across Jordan into the Promise Land. Likewise, our soul is the territory to conquer that allows us to fulfill the call of God on our lives. (cont’d)
